Ulugöl lake: A crater lake 17 km away the town center of Gölköy. With a diameter of 250m, lake is excellent for wild-duck hunting. Surrounded with forests. Excellent for camping. Currently opening to the tourism.
Hoynat Island: POne of the most historical elements of our town of Perşembe. A bird sanctuary where seagulls and cormonant inhabit. Known as the single place where European shag makes nest.
Ünye Castle: A 2500 aged castle built on a hill on the left side at the 7 km of Ünye-Niksar public road, located in town of Ünye, 5 km southeast to the town. Situated in the border of Kaleköy village.
Gölköy Fortress: Situated in the Kale neighborhood of Gölköy town. Built with a single gate on a wide area. Dominant over the city, built for observation and defense. At the left of the fortress entrance, there is a cylindrical bastion and observation tower. Included in the World's Ancient Artefacts List by UNESCO in 1997.
Bolaman Castle: A castle constructed in a chain pattern by the Eastern Black Sea. It has two sections, internal and external, for observation and outpost. Inner fortress is situated at the western end, constructed with very high walls, made up of cut stone. On top of the inner fortress a wooden mansion is built in 18th century. Known as Kademoğlu Mansion, this house is built with two pavilion on top of the inner fortress. An excellent example of civil architecture in our region.
Taşbaşı Cultural Center (Former Prison-Church): Taşbaşı Neighborhood, situated in the city center of Ordu is within the urban Protection Area. Built in 1853. Functions as Cultural Center since April 10, 2000.
Paşaoğlu Mansion (Ethnography Museum): Ordu Museum is located in Selimiye neighborhood (on the Boztepe road) in the city center. Among the registered artefacts of our city, the mansion adorned with a rich stonemasonry is built by Paşaoğlu Hüseyin Efendi in 1896. Being the most excellent example of our 19th century civil architecture, mansion is a three-story including basement.
PPaşaoğlu Mansion is nationalized in 1982 by Ministry of Culture and Tourism, General Directorate of Monuments and Museums and following the renovation in 1987 Masion is opened as "Paşaoğlu Mansion and Etnography Museum". Consists of 2,121 artefacts.
Osman Pasha Great Fountain: Built in 1842 by Trabzon Governor Hazinedarzade Osman Pasha, originally a resident of Ordu. Demolished in 1937 and rebuilt in 1997 as a true copy by business man Fahri ÇELEBİ in coordination with Ordu Municipality. The fountain with the highest column in Turkey.
Boztepe: City of Ordu spread over the slopes of Boztepe. 450 m higher than sea, it is unforgettable to watch all beauties, the exquisiteness of Black Sea from the Boztepe. 6 km away the city center, accessible on a asphalt road. Dining and resting facilities as well as picnic areas in the midst of the forest are available.
Yason cape peninsula: in the borders of Çaytepe village, 15 km away the town center of Perşembe and 28 km away the city center. Yason cape also houses a church built in 1896.
Çaka Beach and Recreational Area: Being one of the most natural corners of town of Perşembe, Çaka Beach is near the Hoynat Island. A rare beach remaining untouched without ecological pollution. Çaka white sand beach houses have facilities which will meet any kind of needs.
Efirli Beach: Situated in the Ordu city borders, west to Perşembe town, Efirli Beach has been one of the most important vacation spots of our city for many years. Famous with its public camping spots, Efirli Beach has dining, music, entertainment facilities during summer. Beach also has observation tower, lifesaver and jumping platform.
Thermal Springs:Among the healing waters in Ordu, Sarmaşık Thermal Springs located in Fatsa town are the most important one.
Accesible on a 10 km stabilized road after the Bolaman Creek west to Fatsa, it has facility with 85 rooms, 236 bed capacity owned by Ordu Provincial Special Administration as well as Turkish baths and baths.
